Co-developers WorldView Software and PLATO Learning are pleased to announce the arrival of the first web-based version of the award-winning WorldView Software Social Studies series for middle and high school learners.

The 18-program series follows rigorous curriculum guidelines and correlates to state and national standards. The WorldView Social Studies series is designed to provide everything a great social studies textbook provides, but with enhanced versatility and interactivity for learners and teachers.

The series is designed to optimize instruction time by tailoring the presentation to fit to the way students learn. It’s flexible enough for classroom instruction and supports student mastery of social studies content.

Each WorldView Program includes:

• portfolio-building writing activities and projects
• testing activities
• document analysis activities
• access to the PLATO PWLN Management System
• new supplementary answer keys
• chapter-oriented delivery

The newly released web-based version of WorldView Software is compatible with both Microsoft Windows and Macintosh operating systems and can be purchased on a subscription basis or as a perpetual license.
