WorldView's new Web-based products are designed to deliver the same award-winning content to students in a new streamlined layout. Updated graphics, an intuitive user interface, and additional features make WorldView products easy to use for students at any level.



CHAPTER MENU

From the Chapter Menu, you may click on any of the Chapter icons to be directed to its corresponding section of the program.


THEMES


The Themes gather together important concepts from within the program. These concepts are distinct and recurring, yet not large enough to warrant their own chapter.


OVERVIEWS


The Overview contains the equivalent of a textbook chapter, but with hyperlinks to provide expanded coverage.


STUDY QUESTIONS


The Study Questions provide complete coverage of the curriculum, with hundreds of questions and explanations – a Socratic method of learning designed with the special needs student in mind.


TUTORIALS


The multi-screen Tutorials examine historical events or trends by highlighting key and pivotal developments.


ESSAYS


The Essay section of the program provides a structured framework that guides the user through the process of writing an essay.


DOCUMENTS


Included in the program are original sources selected from historic Documents. Each has an introduction and document-based questions.


ART


The Art Gallery contains works of art, photographs, cartoons, and other /images, each with an introduction and questions – a graphical dbq.


GRAPHS/CHARTS


The program contains a Graphs/Charts section containing reference line graphs, pie graphs, and charts, each with an introduction and questions to build analytical skills.


MAPS


The reference and historical Maps each come with an introduction and questions based on the image.


PROJECTS


The Projects teach map skills, research, and problem solving. Many of the projects include an introduction, and instructions on how to complete the project.


NOTABLE PEOPLE


This program provides biographical sketches of people who influenced the events discussed in the program. Users may hyperlink to the Notable Persons section from anywhere in the program.


CHRONOLOGY


The Chronology resource summarizes hundreds of important events while developing the students' sense of time.
